Robin Wall Kimmerer is an esteemed botanist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Her bestselling books, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants and Gathering Moss, have garnered widespread acclaim. A MacArthur Fellow, Kimmerer serves as a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental Biology and directs the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment in Syracuse, New York.
